The purpose of this session is to provide school librarians with cost-effective ideas for collaborating with local organizations and museums. The Nonprofit Fair engages students in relevant and high-interest topics and aims to create lifelong learners. The school library provides a safe environment for students to explore new or familiar situations. Session attendants will learn how to organize, set up, advertise, and sponsor their own Nonprofit Fair. I will discuss sample student assessments from different subjects (English, Art, History) and share my timeline.
